Frequently Asked Questions
What is Public Notice?
Public Notice is an independent, non-partisan, non-profit organization dedicated to providing facts and insight on the economy and how government policy affects Americans’ financial well-being.
Why was Public Notice created?
Public Notice grew out of Americans’ increasing concern about the nation’s fiscal and economic situation, and need for the straight facts on what Washington is doing to address it.
What is the mission of Public Notice?
Our mission is to provide Americans with a lasting public resource for clear, unbiased, and useful information about key economic and fiscal issues.
Through education and awareness projects, Public Notice hopes to engage citizens on today’s policies. Because Americans, empowered with the facts, can lead Washington to be better stewards of the nation’s economic and fiscal future.
Are we Republicans? Democrats?
No, we are a non-partisan independent organization that holds both sides accountable. Government has been overspending for years, under the auspices of Republicans and Democrats. If you read through our blog and watch our videos, you will find that we criticize both parties for engaging in irresponsible spending. The Bankrupting America project seeks to inform and engage citizens with regard to the threat posed by unsustainable and misguided government spending. We will champion the ideas of anyone who seeks to help in our efforts, regardless of the letter beside their name.
How can I join the efforts of Public Notice?
You can join our efforts by signing up to receive our emails, becoming a fan on Facebook, signing up for our Tweets, or by making donations. Public Notice exists through the generous donations of Americans who want to ensure Washington pursues responsible, pro-growth fiscal and economic policies.
